If a close friend asked me how to choose the right kitten,
I would advise looking for a breeder who is honest, knowledgeable, and truly understands how to care for, feed, and raise healthy animals.
In other words, your top priority when searching should be to find a cattery that raises healthy cats.
And if you're lucky, that cattery might also have a kitten in the color you want.
The color should always come second.
Now ask yourself — why are you getting a kitten in the first place?
Most likely, because you want that kitten to bring you joy.
But will you feel joy if you’re constantly watching your beloved cat suffer?
If you’re buried in vet bills?
Of course not.
So why is it that for so many people, the number one priority is finding the lowest price?
It makes no sense.
A low price often means high vet bills.
Because running a cattery with healthy breeding animals that produce healthy kittens takes time, knowledge, dedication — and yes, a lot of money.
