One of the most common questions we get from future kitten owners is:
“How big are the parents?”
It’s a fair question — after all, everyone wants a big, majestic Maine Coon.
But here’s the truth:
You can’t judge a kitten’s future size by the size of its parents.
Why?
Because breeding cats never reach their full genetic potential.
Females stop growing early — once they go into heat and start reproducing, their body redirects energy into pregnancy, birth, and nursing.
Even if they have the genes for a large frame, they won’t reach it.
Breeding males are active and lean — their routine is focused on mating and territory, not on lounging and bulking up like a neutered house pet.
That’s why our kittens often grow much larger than their parents — especially when raised with proper nutrition, space, and love.
💡 So if size is important to you — choose our strong, healthy line and feed generously.
Our kittens are built like lions. Just give them good food — and watch them grow. 🦁
