How to name your kitten?

You can give just one name, or, just like with people, you can give your kitten a first name, middle name, and even a last name — as long as it fits within 23 characters. Whatever you choose will be written on the certificate. ✨

You should also know that all registries (TICA, CFA, etc.) automatically add the cattery name at the beginning of every registered kitten’s name. That’s not something we choose — it’s the system.

So when your kitten is officially registered, their name will begin with:

JoieDeVivre — which means “the joy of life” in French.

I chose this name for my cattery so that every kitten would bring joy into the home where they live. 💛
